Recycled Aggregate Testing

Aggregate is defined as a granular material used in construction, which may be natural, manufactured or re-cycled. Recycled Aggregates: Aggregate resulting from the processing of inorganic material, previously used in construction.

Recycled Aggregate Testing In Depth

High quality aggregates are primarily used in the construction industry for the manufacture of bituminous bound and concrete products, unbound and hydraulically bound materials, armourstone and railway ballast.

On-Site Sampling of Aggregates

At ACS Testing we are UKAS accredited to carry out on site sampling from stockpiles of fine and coarse aggregates by hand. ACS Testing provide highly skilled technicians who all hold current CSCS cards and are comprehensively trained in the safety aspects of the work they carry out in accordance with appropriate method statements and risk assessments.
